Through its Center for Naval Analyses and Institute for Public Research (IPR), CNA provides public-sector organizations with the tools they need to tackle the complex challenges of making government more efficient and keeping the United States safe and strong.

CNA's IPR Safety and Security Division works hand-in-hand with justice system agencies and institutions to provide training and technical assistance that covers a range of justice-related issues, including use of force, community collaboration, technology implementation, rigorous evaluation of new initiatives, training, policy formulation and analysis, and more. CNA is dedicated to conducting high-quality, action-oriented research to support justice agencies and to rapidly responding to critical incidents and community concerns.
