The Center for Effective Public Policy (CEPP) is a nonprofit organization first incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1981 with its main office in Kensington, MD, and satellite offices in San Francisco, CA; Melbourne Beach, FL; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Minneapolis, MN; Newark, NJ; Lebanon, PA; Columbia, SC; and Edgerton, WI. CEPP’s staff and network of expert consultants are configured into project teams that have diverse qualifications and backgrounds in criminal justice, corrections, organizational development, nonprofit management, training, human services research, agency administration, and policy development. CEPP is managed by one principal and staffed by former criminal justice practitioners and professionals with a unique array of expertise in the following areas: criminal justice management and operations; institutional management; probation and parole supervision; justice involved women; offender classification; legal considerations in criminal justice; evidence-based practices and decision making; sex offending and domestic violence; social science research; organizational development; and event management.
