The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) in coordination with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) recently released a resource for law enforcement officers titled, “Health Watch: Checking In For Duty.” The resource is a physician’s checklist to help law enforcement officers be their own health advocate.

Research has shown that the majority of people, youth and adults, engage with some type of social media. While social media has many positive uses, it can also be misused and abused by criminals in many crimes, particularly in cases of stalking and dating/domestic violence.

National Association of Counties (NACo) 80th Annual Conference and Exposition

NACo’s 80th Annual Conference and Exposition provides an opportunity for all county leaders and staff to learn, network and guide the direction of the association. The Annual Conference, held each July, is hosted by a NACo member county. This year, the conference will be held in Mecklenburg County, (Charlotte) North Carolina.
