Join the National Center for Victims of Crime Webinar – Responding to the Misuse and Abuse of Social Media in Criminal Cases

Please join the National Center for Victims of Crime webinar, “Responding to the Misuse and Abuse of Social Media in Criminal Cases.” The webinar will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. ET, and will review a variety of social media platforms, how law enforcement and other criminal justice professionals can document and obtain evidence in cases involving social media, and considerations for victim safety.

Research has shown that the majority of people, youth and adults, use some type of social media. While social media has many positive uses, it can also be misused and abused by criminals, particularly in cases of stalking and dating/domestic violence. Presenters for this webinar include Elaina Roberts and Sue Ryan, Program Attorneys with the Stalking Resource Center, National Center for Victims of Crime.
