The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) recently announced newly revised Justice Grant Assistance (JAG) Accountability Measures. Using evidence-based information and best practices, the new measures encourage success, ensure strong project management, create transparency, and allow for the overall field of criminal justice to benefit from these BJA funded programs.
The Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA), in coordination with the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), has developed two toolkits for State Administering Agencies (SAAs). The two toolkits, “An Introduction to Evidence-Based Practices,” and “Implementing Evidence-Based Practices,” are the first in a series on promoting the use of evidence-based practices in SAAs.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) in coordination with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) recently released a resource for law enforcement officers titled, “Health Watch: Checking In For Duty.” The resource is a physician’s checklist to help law enforcement officers be their own health advocate.
