JRSA, NCJA, and BJA Develop New Toolkits on Evidence-Based Practices for State Administering Agencies
The Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA), in coordination with the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), has developed two toolkits for State Administering Agencies (SAAs). The two toolkits, “An Introduction to Evidence-Based Practices,” and “Implementing Evidence-Based Practices,” are the first in a series on promoting the use of evidence-based practices in SAAs. The toolkits include a briefing paper, an executive summary, and a slideshow. The slideshows can be tailored by SAAs to highlight their own efforts in promoting evidence-based practices in their state.
The toolkits were developed as part of a project to provide assistance to the SAAs in understanding and implementing evidence-based practices in their states. Additional toolkits are currently being developed based on feedback from SAA directors.
