Join the Swift Certain Fair Resource Center for a Free Workshop on Community Corrections

Please join the Swift Certain Fair Resource Center on July 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT for a free workshop in Malibu, CA. The workshop will cover implementation of the “Swift, Certain, and Fair” (SCF)/Hawaii’s Opportunity Probation with Enforcement (HOPE) model. The workshop will feature presentations from Hawaii HOPE Judge Steven Alm, SCF researcher Angela Hawken, and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) SCF/HOPE training and technical assistance (TTA) team and practitioner partners.

The Swift Certain Fair Resource Center, in conjunction with BJA, provides free TTA to state, local, territorial, and tribal jurisdictions implementing SCF/HOPE in community corrections. Research has shown that a system of swift, certain, and modest sanctions can motivate compliance. The Swift Certain Fair Research Center assists probation and parole agencies implementing SCF/HOPE programs in more than a dozen states.

Register for the free workshop offered by SCF/HOPE. SCF/HOPE will also offer a free workshop in Washington, D.C. on August 4.
