The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) is a competitive grant program that will provide funding to state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies, prosecutor’s offices, or a governmental non-law enforcement agency acting as fiscal agent for the applicant to inventory, track, and test previously unsubmitted SAKs (excluding SAKs that have already been submitted to the crime laboratory).
