 This webinar will provide an overview of the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) “The Price of Justice: Rethinking the Consequences of Justice Fines and Fees” funding opportunity. Potential applicants will have an opportunity to learn about the background and key concepts of this funding opportunity, and the requirements of the solicitation. The goal of this program is to encourage and disseminate best practices for coordinated and appropriate justice systems responses due to justice-involved individuals’ inability to pay fines, fees, and related charges.

BJA VALOR Officer Safety & Wellness Program Solicitation Webinar

This webinar will provide an overview of the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) FY 2016 National Initiatives: Officer Safety and Wellness Initiative—VALOR Program competitive solicitation. It will describe each funding category and will provide an opportunity for interested applicants to ask questions related to the solicitation of BJA staff who manage the VALOR program. North Carolina/South Carolina Counterterrorism Conference

2016 Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training

The 5th Annual Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training is a three-day comprehensive training for both operational Wellness Courts and courts in the planning stages. This training features dual tracks, ranging from legal issues, to treatment considerations, to strategies for better incorporating culture and tradition into the Healing to Wellness Court structure. Operational Wellness Courts will share their experiences and advice. There will also be opportunities for networking.
