Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department Networks of Criminals (NOC) Youth Offender Webinar

On July 19, 2018, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), in partnership with the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department (PD), presented the "Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department Networks of Criminals (NOC) Youth Offender Webinar." The webinar outlined Milwaukee PD’s Networks of Criminals approach – a novel, integrated analytic approach that integrates criminal history data, threat intelligence, and social network analysis to identify youth offenders who are most responsible for impacting the city’s motor vehicle and robbery trends.

Enhancing Law Enforcement’s Analytical Capacity: Technology Integration in West Memphis, Arkansas

On May 31, 2018, the Bureau of Justice Assistance National Training and Technical Assistance Center hosted the "Enhancing Law Enforcement’s Analytical Capacity: Technology Integration in West Memphis, Arkansas" webinar in partnership with the West Memphis, Arkansas Police Department (PD). This webinar reviewed the recent technology integration effort undertaken by West Memphis PD, as part of the West Memphis, Arkansas National Public Safety Partnership site, to enhance its data-driven policing mission.

On August 23, 2017, the Bureau of Justice Assistance National Training and Technical Assistance Center hosted the "Focused Deterrence Strategies to Address Violent Offenders in Madison, Wisconsin" webinar in partnership with Captain Cory Nelson of the Madison, Wisconsin Police Department. During this webinar, Captain Nelson highlighted focused deterrence programs that have successfully and drastically reduced the violence associated with the targeted group of high-risk offenders.

On October 19, 2016, the Bureau of Justice Assistance National Training and Technical Assistance Center hosted the "Forensic-led Policing in Denver" webinar in partnership with the Denver, Colorado Police Department. This webinar provided the criminal justice community with information about the Denver Crime Lab, including how their customer-focused philosophy has helped solve crime.
