Please join the Violence Reduction Network (VRN) for the webinar, “Utilizing License Plate Readers for Violence Reduction” on Wednesday, June 15, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET. This webinar will provide law enforcement officials with an overview of automated license plate readers (ALPRs). Specifically, participants will learn how to establish a program, the development of policies for ALPR use, ALPR successes, and the development of implementation plans.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC) is pleased to release the spring 2016 edition of the BJA Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Provider Directory. The BJA TTA Provider Directory enables BJA staff, BJA TTA providers, and criminal justice practitioners to quickly access key information about BJA providers and give them an understanding of the breadth of justice expertise available.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) recently released the publication, “More Than Emptying Beds: A Systems Approach to Segregation Reform.” This resource focuses on the overuse of restrictive housing in America's prisons and jails, and highlights the efforts of jurisdictions to reduce segregation and improve conditions in a safe and smart way.
