The National Gang Center (NGC), with support from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), will host a three-day training course titled “Basic Training for Street Gang Investigators.” The course will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 through Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Birmingham, AL. The course will offer basic, entry-level training to sworn officers newly assigned to work with street gangs or those with limited experience and/or no formal training in street gang investigations. The class size is limited in this course, so interested attendees are encouraged to register early. Attendees are required to complete the prerequisite 80-minute, self-paced training prior to the onsite training.
