National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund

Founded in 1984, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) is dedicated to telling the story of U.S. law enforcement and making it safer for those who serve. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., NLEOMF built and continues to maintain the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial – the nation’s monument to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. NLEOMF is a principal organizer of the National Police Week observance each May and hosts a Candlelight Vigil each May 13 to honor all fallen officers.

Polis Solutions, Inc

Polis Solutions, Inc. was founded in by the creators of a $40M Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) effort to develop innovative methods and technologies for training social interaction and trust-­‐building skills.  We are a training, consulting and research firm that specializes in creating evidence-­‐based programs that build public trust and safer communities.

Virginia Center for Policing Innovation

VCPI serves as a powerful resource for public safety and communities nationwide, advancing public safety through the development and delivery of training (onsite and eLearning); consulting; technical assistance; program development, implementation, and management; and much more.  Since 1997, VCPI, a nonprofit organization, has trained over 70,000 public safety professionals and others in a wide variety of public safety topics.

The Center for Public Safety Innovation’s (CPSI) at St. Petersburg College mission is to develop and deliver high-quality training for emergency and first responders, military personnel, and the general public, in a variety of formats—web-based, video, broadcast, and face-to-face— using state-of-the-art technology and best practices in education and training. CPSI training focuses on public safety, the disaster preparedness cycle, illegal drug interdiction, community engagement, and enhanced quality of life for all.

School of Criminal Justice: Michigan State University

The School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University (MSU) is the nation’s oldest continuous degree-granting program in criminal justice. Police Executive Research Forum

Founded in 1976 as a nonprofit organization, the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) is a police research organization and a provider of management services, technical assistance, and executive-level education to support law enforcement agencies. PERF helps improve the delivery of police services through the exercise of strong national leadership, public debate of police and criminal justice issues, and research and policy development.

Local Initiatives Support Corporation

The mission of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation is to support the neighborhood revitalization efforts of community groups by providing them with financing (e.g., grants, loans, and equity capital), technical and management assistance, training opportunities, and policy support.
