The conference will take place on October 21 – 23, 2019 at the Conference Center of Las Vegas. This three-day, tuition-free conference will feature nationally known speakers and will showcase cutting-edge workshops for child abuse prosecutors and their multidisciplinary teams. This conference is co-sponsored by the Salt Lake County, Utah District Attorney’s Office, the Western Regional Children’s Advocacy Center, and the National Children’s Advocacy Center.

The three tenets of the conference are training, networking, and exhibit hall education. IACP 2019 spans four days of education and networking.
The current opioid epidemic has devastated families and communities and shattered lives. While the human toll of the opioid crisis is well established, its adverse effects on the goals of human services programs such as family stability, child well-being, and self-sufficiency are less well understood. Human services programs provide essential services to families and individuals who are struggling with opioid and other substance use disorders.
