On August 24, 2020, NDCRC co-directors Christina Lanier and Kristen DeVall presented at the North Carolina Treatment Court Coordinator's training. The training was hosted by NADCP. The presentation focused on the newly-designed NDCRC website, its features, and upcoming presentations by the NDCRC.
The NDCRC co-hosted a Q&A session on July 15, 2020 with OJJDP, NADCP, CCI, and CCFF regarding the juvenile justice mapping initiative and the Painting the Current Picture survey of treatment courts.
NDCRC will develop an advisory board of experts in the treatment court field. This group will act as an internal mechanism to inform decisions for the NDCRC on a broad level and for some individual projects.

The NDCRC hosted a webinar on October 6, 2020 on the topic of successful grant writing proposals. The webinar provided an overview of the major components of the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s (BJA) Request for Proposals (RFP), as well as provide examples of each required section. NDCRC directors Dr. Christina Lanier and Dr. Kristen DeVall reviewed tips for strengthening your proposal and identify common mistakes to avoid.
