NDCRC will disseminate surveys to local coordinators in states where they are primarily responsible for maintaining records, i.e. no statewide reporting system exists. These surveys address the structure (e.g., funding, personnel, partnerships), operation (e.g., services offered, eligibility, decision making), and successes and challenges (e.g., adherence to or deviance from best practices; racial, ethnic, and gender disparity or equity).

Mr. Gunderson at Optum contacted BJA requesting TTA to support Salt Lake County Utah's mental health courts, which were at risk of being de-certified, and BJA referred the inquiry to the CSG Justice Center. CSG Justice Center staff conducted a phone call with Mr. Gunderson to understand the current situation in Salt Lake County (SLCo) and the TTA needs, which were identified as restoring trust between the courts and community-based treatment providers following a period where the SLCo mental health court programs suffered from too little availability of community-based treatment.
