The Westchester County, New York District Attorney's Office requested an assessment of their problem solving courts. BJA NTTAC referred this request to the National Association of Drug Courts.

The Herndon, Virginia Police Department requested a one-day onsite officer wellness training. BJA NTTAC denied this request due to travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Customized support and training

The Scarborough PD requested sessions for Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) trainings to assist them in implementing a LEAD model. The LEAD National Support Bureau was selected to fulfill the request and provided virtual training on best practices to the operations workgroup, case managers, and police officers from March- June 2021.

University Park, Maryland Police Department is requesting Insight Policing: Core Skills - Conflict Resolution for Law Enforcement training. This training will allow each officer will develop a skill set that will help them do the following: gain control in conflict situations; stay safe with minimal force; prevent escalation; calm people down; encourage cooperation and voluntary compliance; efficiently and effectively solve problems; reduce litigation and reduce stress. The 8 hour interactive skill based training would be taught by Dr.

Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan requested information on distance learning and online training opportunities to help expand their knowledge in re-entry and aid their current clients. BJA NTTAC provided the requestor with a list of providers that offer implicit bias training and also referred the requestor to the CSG’s Reentry Resource Center.
