    NADCP 21st Annual Conference -- Tribal Track 2015

    The National Association of Drug Court Professionals Conference offers a wide menu of drug court training for courts across the country, and includes over 2,000 attendees. Of the conference's twenty different tracks, the "Tribal Track" offers workshops specifically catered to Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts and courts serving Native American populations. Additionally, prior to the conference, the Tribal Nations Forum offers a three-hour space for Healing to Wellness Court practitioners to meet and share experiences.

    2015 Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training

    The 2015 Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training is a three-day comprehensive training covering topics relevant to tribal drug courts/healing to wellness courts, including adult, juvenile, and family models. All practitioners are warmly invited to attend. 

    Addressing Responsivity Issues for American Indian/Alaska Native Individuals on Community Supervision

    The responsivity principle suggests that an individuals’ characteristics affect how they respond to treatment and interventions.  Characteristics such as learning style, personality, culture, gender, education level, etc.

    Live Broadcast - Veterans Treatment Courts: A Second Chance for Vets Who Have Lost Their Way

    The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) will be conducting a live-streaming internet broadcast on justice-involved veterans, highlighting the lifesaving role being played by veterans treatment courts across the country. The three-hour broadcast titled “Veterans Treatment Courts: A Second Chance for Vets Who Have Lost Their Way,” will be aired live on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

    The 2015 Sexual Assault Kit Initiative National Training and Technical Assistance Program Solicitation Webinar

    In 2015, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is launching the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) and the SAKI National Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Program to support jurisdictions across the country as they address the issue of untested sexual assault kits (SAKs) in their possession and engage in comprehensive sexual assault response reform. The purpose of this webinar is to share information about the 2015 SAKI National TTA Program Solicitation with interested applicants.
