    The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) will be hosting two webinars on the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Solicitation. The National SAKI webinar will be on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm. EDT and will provide attendees with useful information about the SAKI. The National SAKI is a competitive grant program that will provide funding for the awardee to inventory, track, and test previously unsubmitted SAKs.

    The 2015 Sexual Assault Kit Initiative National Training and Technical Assistance Program Solicitation Webinar

    In 2015, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is launching the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) and the SAKI National Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Program to support jurisdictions across the country as they address the issue of untested sexual assault kits (SAKs) in their possession and engage in comprehensive sexual assault response reform. The purpose of this webinar is to share information about the 2015 SAKI National TTA Program Solicitation with interested applicants.

    The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) is a competitive grant program that will provide funding to state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies, prosecutor’s offices, or a governmental non-law enforcement agency acting as fiscal agent for the applicant to inventory, track, and test previously unsubmitted SAKs (excluding SAKs that have already been submitted to the crime laboratory).
