    National Gang Center - Advanced Gang Investigations Training - July 26-27 - Little Rock, AR

    The National Gang Center (NGC), through funding from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), will be offering its Advanced Gang Investigations Training course in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Tuesday, July 26 – Wednesday, July 27. This training has been developed for gang officers and intelligence analysts currently assigned to gang investigations or others who engage with street gangs as part of their law enforcement duties.

    National Gang Center - Advanced Gang Training Investigations - Little Rock, AR

    The Advanced Gang Investigations training provides insight into techniques to investigate gang crimes and advanced tools for gang investigations, including information regarding how to integrate intelligence analysis and crime analysis. The training is designed to offer flexibility based on the needs of the law enforcement agencies in the geographical area where the training is being offered. The training provides awareness of existing tools, resources, and guidelines for gang investigators.

    Violence Reduction Network (VRN) Webinar: Utilizing License Plate Readers for Violence Reduction, June 15th, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

    The purpose of this webinar is to provide law enforcement officials with an overview of the value of automated license plate readers (ALPRs), including how to establish a program, the development of policies for ALPR use, ALPR successes, and the development of implementation plans.

    BJA NTTAC Webinar - "Tips for Reporting on Training Performance Metrics"

    On Tuesday, June 14, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC) will host the webinar "Tips for Reporting on Training Performance Metrics". The webinar will review the performance metrics associated with training engagements in the BJA Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Reporting Portal, and offer tips for entering training activities and reporting training performance metrics thoroughly and accurately.
