In many instances, practitioners in the field experience situations – sometimes potentially volatile – where they must quickly make decisions when they do not have enough information.

During the webinar, participants will receive information on how state, local, and tribal jurisdictions can apply for funding to implement swift, certain, and fair (SCF) responses in community corrections.

The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services' (COPS Office) monthly podcast series, The Beat, features interviews with multi-disciplinary experts sharing the latest developments in community policing. The Beat’s latest programming is a three-part “Drone Podcast Series,” which provides law enforcement with an in-depth look at the various factors departments must consider when implementing an Unmanned Aircraft Systems program at either the local or state level.

In partnership with the Office for Victims of Crime, the Education Development Center (EDC) is providing a series of two-day suicide prevention trainings between May and August 2019 nationwide. The train-the-trainer courses are tailored to crime victim advocates who are not clinical mental health professionals.
