Join SPI's Webinar - The Impact of Body Worn Cameras: The Phoenix SPI

Please join the Smart Policing Initiative (SPI) webinar, The Impact of Body Worn Cameras: The Phoenix SPI, on Wednesday, December 10 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. EST. The Phoenix Police Department, with assistance from their research partner Arizona State University (ASU), recently completed a process and impact evaluation of their quasi-experimental design study.  This webinar will describe their approach and results of their body-worn camera study, including lessons learned, from both the research and practitioner perspective. This webinar will be co-presented by Commander Michael Kurtenbach of the Phoenix Police Department and Dr. Charles Katz from ASU.

Prior to the webinar, SPI recommends viewing some of the video produced by ASU and Phoenix Police Department about their body worn cameras project. The videos are available online. SPI recommends viewing the video titled: "Scope of camera program" and "Goal of pilot program".
