The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys is partnering with the National Center for Victims of Crime and the San Francisco, California District Attorney's Office (SFDA) to offer a webinar on SFDA’s Victim Services Division. The mission of the SFDA Victim Services Division is to help victims of crime mitigate their trauma, navigate the criminal justice system, and rebuild their lives. The division serves over 8,500 victims of crime each year and targets the most vulnerable, marginalized, and disenfranchised populations of the city with innovative, evidence-based practices in the field of victim services. This webinar will be presented by Chief Assistant District Attorney Sharon Woo and Chief of the Victim Services Division Dr. Gena Castro Rodriguez, who oversees victim advocacy, restitution, and the California State Victims Compensation Program.
