AEquitas' mission is to improve access to and the quality of justice in gender-based violence and human trafficking cases through an informed practical, and innovative approach. AEquitas' staff is comprised of former prosecutors, with over 100 years of collective experience who conduct legal research; provide 24/7 case consultation; serve as instructors at training events and webinars; and publish resources.
The National Center for Policing Innovation serves as a powerful resource for public safety and communities nationwide, advancing public safety through the development and delivery of training (onsite and eLearning); consulting; technical assistance; program development, implementation, and management; and much more. Since 1997, NCPI, a nonprofit organization, has trained over 175,000 public safety professionals and others in a wide variety of public safety topics.

The Urban Institute’s Justice Policy Center staff members conduct research and evaluations and provide technical assistance to improve justice policy and practice at the national, state, and local levels. Urban researchers examine the development, implementation, and impact of policing, crime prevention, and gang disruption initiatives. The work includes a large breadth of topics ranging from risk assessment, community corrections and reentry, human trafficking, forensic science, courts and sentencing, to gun violence.
The School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University (MSU) is the nation’s oldest continuous degree-granting program in criminal justice. Since 1935, MSU has been a leader in criminal justice scholarship with its pioneering research, undergraduate, and graduate education and engaged collaboration with criminal justice agencies, the private sector, and communities locally and abroad.
Margolis Healy is a professional services firm specializing in campus safety, security, and regulatory compliance for higher education and K-12. The firm provides their clients with a variety of specialized services that include, but are not limited to, campus safety and security assessments; Title IX and Clery Act assessments; emergency management risk and hazard assessments; emergency preparedness and crisis response systems and exercises; implementation of lethal and less-than-lethal force options; litigation consultation; and special investigations/independent reviews.

Founded in 1976 as a nonprofit organization, the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) is a police research organization and a provider of management services, technical assistance, and executive-level education to support law enforcement agencies. The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, Inc. (APA) is incorporated in the commonwealth of Virginia and headquartered in Washington, D.C. The association is a nonprofit charitable organization that is supported by member contributions as well as government grants and funding from both foundations and the private sector. Prosecutors direct the organization through a volunteer board of directors led by the Chair of the Board, Jackson County, Missouri Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker and Vice Chairman, Multnomah County, Oregon District Attorney Rod Underhill.
