California voters enacted Proposition 47 in November of 2014, reducing the classification of various property and drug offenses that were previously prosecuted as felony offenses to misdemeanor offenses.

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office prosecutes misdemeanor offenses in the City of Los Angeles, and as we anticipated, experienced a significant increase in the number of drug offenses prosecuted by our office, increasing 224% following the passage of Prop 47.

Brochures will be used to increase law enforcement and first responder awareness of the program's availability while attending conferences. These elements will enable MedicAlert to expand the target audience to all law enforcement departments across the United States.

Booth art panels that are specific to law enforcement and this project will be needed to attract attention in the exhibit hall. These panels will fit current frame work so MedicAlert will not have to purchase a brand new display set. This booth art will be used at all four conference events.

We are requesting assistance from NTTAC to have a population analysis conducted of our ten county jails focused specifically on those inmates who are incarcerated pending adjudication of their cases. This is the first of three planned steps to bring about statewide bail reform in New Hampshire. This jail population analysis will give us a better idea of who we have in our jails pretrial, what is keeping them there (i.e., money bond amounts), how long they stay, and whether they need to be there.

BJA will commission a White Paper on risk assessment use in state and local sentencing decision making. The final report will be a critical tool to expand BJA's knowledge of how risk information is used, and may impact future BJA funding priorities and strategies.

In June of 2014 the Colorado SAA submitted a TTA request to NCJA on behalf of the the Adams County CJCC. The request sought assistance with localized strategic planning to assist the CJCC identify areas of consensus that could drive CJCC efforts.
