The Lansing, Michigan National Public Safety Partnership Site requested Command Presence's "Dynamics of Officer and Citizen Encounters" training. The training was postpone until Option Year 3.
I would like an audit where we can get guidance on the best practices and procedures for a prosecutors office in order to combat this opiod and abuse problem.
The Hampden County, Massachusetts Sheriff's Department requested training in the Speed of Trust Train the Trainer program content. The request is to have staff trained to implement Speed of Trust concepts to 70 of our uniformed supervisors. This would include facilitator materials, certification, participant materials, shipping, and travel. This request was postponed until BJA NTTAC Option Year 3.
BJA requested travel support to send representatives from PSP sites to attend the Public Safety Summit at Harvard University. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for two representatives from the Saginaw, Michigan Police Department and Salisbury, North Carolina Police Department to attend the Public Safety Summit at
Harvard University from April 12 – 14, 2019.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for Deputy Chief Seth Herman of the New York City, New York PD (NYPD) to attend and present at the Chicago Crimefighters Conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for Deputy Chief Seth Herman to attend the event in Chicago, Illinois from January 24 –25, 2019.
The Houston, Texas Metropolitan Police Department (PD), as part of the Houston Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI's DIVRT Training. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two representatives from the Houston PSP site to attend the conference from March 19-20, 2019 in Sacramento, California.
The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Mississippi requested T3 – Tact, Tactics, and Trust™ training. The request was canceled due to an unresponsive requestor.
Killeen Police Department (KPD) is developing a Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) and requested travel support to visit another agency, similar in size, to learn more about the development of an RTCC. KPD withdrew their request for support.
City of Miami Police Department, as part of the Miami Public Safety Partnership Site (PSP), requestd a Crime Analysis on Demand assessment. CRH Analsys Consulting was selected as the provider for this enagagement and assited Miami PD to modernize the Miami Police Crime Analysis detail, and to educate the rest of the agency on crime pattern analysis, social network analysis, and hot spot analysis.
