The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department (MNPD), as part of the Nashville Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested technical assistance under the BJA NTTAC Crime Analysis on Demand (CAoD) program to improve existing programming and reduce the prevalence of violent crime. MNPD identified Julie Wartell as a potential technical assistance provider. BJA NTTAC is currently working with Ms. Wartell to determine whether she can effectively fulfill this request, which will be transferred to the Option Year 1 (OY1) contract.

Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian is a two-day leadership development workshop designed for all levels of the organization. This revolutionary educational process is a holistic approach to developing our people. It will touch hearts, awaken minds and ignite spirits through dynamic presentations and learning processes.

South Texas College requested technical assistance to facilitate a planning meeting for a regional public safety training center. Pamela Cammarata was selected to fulfill the request, and facilitated the planning meeting on August 28-31, 2018. Ms. Cammarata will deliver a final report to South Texas College in September 2018.

The goal of the staffing study is to assist the Little Rock PD by analyzing aspects of its management and operations, with a focus on staffing levels and personnel deployments.

We are requesting an All Access Pass (AAP) with FranklinCovey. The AAP will also include specific facilitator certification in 7 Habits for Highly Successful People (or Managers or Law Enforcement), Trust Foundations (or Leading at The Speed of Trust or Policing at The Speed of Trust). The facilitator certifications will include agency personnel as well as community partners. The community partners will receive physical materials only and will not have access to the AAP.

BJA NTTAC will support sending speakers to the IACP conference.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested travel support for 15 individuals from Public Safety Partnership Network (PSP) sites nationwide to attend the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) Summit in New Orleans, Louisiana from September 11 – 13, 2017. BJA NTTAC was identified to provide this support which began in August 2017.
