This course is designed to prepare first responders for an open-air active shooter encounter. It addresses a wide range of tactics and techniques when dealing with an exterior armed aggressor. This hands on course will cover equipment selection, vehicle ambushes, medical emergencies, mounted and dismounted officer/citizen down rescue, dismounted individual/ team movement techniques, and emergency vehicle crisis response. Some participants attending this course have found it to be physically challenging.

Greenville needed to revise their inventory numbers. SAKI TTA instructed their Site coordinator to email their BJA grant manager and instructed Greenville to report the correct numbers on the next PMT report.
NM submitted their first of their phased inventory, the southwestern region of NM. SAKI TTA reviewed the inventory and asked NM to clarify a few items on the inventory certification form.
