The Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) is a Florida-based nonprofit corporation specializing in criminal justice (with a law enforcement focus) and homeland security issues. IIR has a proven history of promoting greater efficiency and effectiveness among federal, state, local, and tribal criminal justice agencies through customized services. IIR is a highly experienced team of professionals equipped with the knowledge and ability to respond to the needs of justice agencies. IIR’s expertise and services are far-reaching, including, but not limited to, research, customized training, and technical assistance programs in the following specialized fields: officer safety and wellness; violence reduction; anti-terrorism prevention and interdiction; gang prevention, intervention, and suppression; task force management; intelligence and information sharing; and privacy issues.
