RurAL CAP, founded in 1965, is a private, statewide, nonprofit organization working to improve the quality of life for low-income Alaskans. Governed by a 24-member Board of Directors representing every region of the state, RurAL CAP is one of the largest and most diversified nonprofit organizations in Alaska. In fiscal year 2015, RurAL CAP employed 727 Alaskans in 60 communities statewide and operated on $43 million in conjunction with its for-profit subsidiary, Rural Energy Enterprises.

TASC, Inc. (Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities), is a not-for-profit organization that provides health recovery management services for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. Since 1976, the organization has provided and/or facilitated access to community-based treatment and recovery support services for individuals who are involved in public systems such as criminal and juvenile justice, corrections, child welfare, public aid, and public housing.

Altarum Institute is a nonprofit health systems research and consulting organization. Altarum integrates independent research and client-centered consulting to create comprehensive, systems-based solutions that improve health. The Quattrone Center for the Fair Administration of Justice at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School is a nonpartisan, national research and policy hub producing and disseminating research designed to prevent errors in the criminal justice system. The Center takes an interdisciplinary, data-driven, “systems approach” to identifying and analyzing the most crucial problems in the justice system, and proposing solutions that improve its fairness for the benefit of society.

AEquitas' mission is to improve access to and the quality of justice in gender-based violence and human trafficking cases through an informed practical, and innovative approach. AEquitas' staff is comprised of former prosecutors, with over 100 years of collective experience who conduct legal research; provide 24/7 case consultation; serve as instructors at training events and webinars; and publish resources.
