Register to join the Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ) for the webinar “Racial and Ethnic Disparities: Communities in Action” on Thursday, May 25 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET. During the webinar, participants will learn about the Center for Children’s Law and Policy (CCLP) and their work with states and localities to implement data-driven reforms that reduce racial and ethnic disparities in the juvenile justice system.
Presenters for this webinar include:
- Shay Bilchik, Director, Center for Juvenile Justice Reform (CJJR) at Georgetown University,
- Valerie LaMotte, Juvenile Justice Specialist, Connecticut,
- Honorable Deborah Minot, Judge for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Iowa, and
- Jason Szanyi, Deputy Director, CCLP.
These speakers represent communities that have worked with CCLP and jurisdictions that have participated in CJJR’s Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities Certificate Program. Registration is free for members and $25 for non-members.
