Check Out a New Report Released by George Mason University on Existing and Ongoing Body-Worn Camera Research
The Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy (CEBCP) at George Mason University, in collaboration with the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, just released “Existing and Ongoing Body Worn Camera Research: Knowledge Gaps and Opportunities,” a report by Cynthia Lum, Christopher Koper, Linda Merola, Amber Scherer and Amanda Reioux.
This report organizes research questions that were examined in 12 existing and 30 ongoing studies on body-worn cameras. Research questions for each of the 42 studies were categorized and mapped in order to identify areas where more research is needed.
For additional body-worn camera information, check out the Body-Worn Camera Toolkit, a comprehensive clearinghouse for criminal justice practitioners interested in planning and implementing a body-worn camera program.
