Join the NCJA Webinar on Adult Typologies – What Do We Know About Sexual Offending and Sex Offender Management and Treatment?
Please join the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) on Tuesday, August 24 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. ET for the “Adult Typologies” webinar. This webinar will address adult sex offender typologies. It reviews the most frequently used and empirically tested typologies for child sexual abusers, rapists, female offenders, and Internet sexual offenders. It also reviews recently developed models of the sexual offense process that have been created to better define sexual offending and treatment-relevant factors, as they may ultimately replace traditional treatment for, and management of, sexual offenders.
This webinar is part of the webinar series, What Do We Know About Sexual Offending and Sex Offender Management and Treatment?, funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering and Tracking (SMART), and is designed to provide policymakers and practitioners with trustworthy, up-to-date information they can use to identify and implement what works to combat sexual offending and prevent sexual victimization.
