The Tribal Law and Policy Institute is pleased to host the 4th Annual Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training, to take place September 8-10, 2015 at the Hotel Albuquerque, located in Albuquerque, NM.
The 4th Annual Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training offers three days of Wellness Court/drug court workshops and plenaries geared towards both operational Wellness Courts and tribes in the planning stages of their courts. Training topics orient around the Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Key Components and identified drug court best practices. Training topics will include good governance, sanctions and incentives, confidentiality, medically-assisted treatment, and much more. This training additionally offers the unique opportunity to network with Wellness Court from across the country, as well as to meet with Wellness Court technical assistance providers one-on-one. This training is free and open to everyone (including interested tribal leadership, state leadership, state drug court practitioners, and community members). This training has been approved by the Bureau of Justice Assistance.
