The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for the Justice Information Sharing Training and Technical Assistance (JIS TTA) Program. This solicitation seeks to support the efforts of state, local, and tribal criminal justice agencies to adopt innovative justice information sharing solutions through the provision of training and technical assistance services. Initiatives supported under this solicitation must facilitate the adoption of one or more of the components of the Global Standards Package (GSP) and support criminal justice policies, practices, and programs that are data-driven and evidence-based. The JIS TTS program furthers the Department of Justice's mission by assisting state, local, and tribal jurisdictions in reducing crime and improving the functioning of the criminal justice system through more effective information sharing, multi-agency collaboration, and implementation of data-driven, evidence-based strategies. Applicants must register with Grants.gov prior to submitting an application. All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on June 5, 2014.
