This webinar will focus on the implementation of risk assessment tools, within juvenile probation departments, to guide dispositional recommendations and case planning. Dr. Gina Vincent will review the key features of developmentally appropriate evidence-based risk assessment tools, and guiding principles for implementing a risk assessment tool within juvenile probation departments. Mr. Kelly Clement will discuss the statewide implementation of an evidence-based risk assessment tool for juvenile probation departments in Louisiana and demonstrate how data collected from risk tools was used to inform system-wide practices and policies.
