Sunday Aug 04, 2013 - 04:00pm CDT to Tuesday Aug 06, 2013 - 08:30pm CDT
Event Description:

Data-driven decision making is crucial to preventing and reducing crime in our communities. Only through collaboration can decision makers have access to research and technology needed to drive good policy. Because investments in public safety by state, tribal and local justice agencies are increasingly focused on employing evidence-based practices and programs, it is paramount to know what’s needed, what works, and why. Participate in this event to address the key theme of the 2013 National Forum on Criminal Justice: Integrating Research, Policy and Technology to Improve Public Safety.

The National Forum on Criminal Justice is a unique opportunity for leaders from all levels of government, and the public and private sectors to share ideas about crime reduction and prevention strategies. The Forum is sponsored by the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA), the IJIS Institute, and the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) and is open to anyone who works in criminal justice.
