The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) has extended the application period for strategic planning training and technical assistance (TTA) services through its Sixth Amendment Initiative. The Center for Court Innovation (CCI) is offering strategic planning TTA and will provide onsite and remote assistance to create research- and practice-based action plans that sites will undertake with support from CCI over the course of several years.
State and local governments, as well as their agents, from jurisdictions that are diverse in size, region, funding, defense delivery system, and data capacity may apply. BJA strongly encourages courts to apply. BJA and CCI will review applications on a rolling basis until all available resources are distributed.
