Attend a Webinar on the Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program Statewide Expansion and Response Grant
Join the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s (BJA) Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Program (COAP) team to learn about a funding opportunity supporting the statewide adoption of the Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program (ODMAP). The “COAP Webinar: ODMAP Statewide Expansion and Response Solicitation Webinar” will take place on Thursday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. ET. During the webinar, participants will learn how state and tribal agencies can apply for funding to effectively respond to the nationwide opioid crisis.
In 2017, the Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area launched the free, user-friendly ODMAP tool to provide near real-time data on suspected fatal and nonfatal overdoses to first responders. The tool’s application programming interface enables agencies to seamlessly feed data into ODMAP, supporting strategic analysis and responses across jurisdictions. The ODMAP Statewide Expansion and Response Grant will support statewide adoption of ODMAP, as well as cross-sector partnerships to develop coordinated public safety, behavioral health, and public health responses to the overdose data.
Applications for this funding opportunity are due on June 27, 2019 by 5:00 p.m. ET. Access the complete funding details to learn more about eligibility, application requirements, and program-specific information.
