The Community Corrections Institute, in partnership with the Bureau of Justice Assistance through the Project Safe Neighborhoods program, is offering training for law enforcement and corrections professionals. This training program is customized to address the needs of the requesting agency and uses “hands-on” scenarios as an instruction method. The training sessions offered cover a broad spectrum of topic areas, including:
- Managing Gang Members: Arrest to Reentry
- Issues in Working with Native Gangs
- Natural Response Control Tactics
- Safety in Search and Seizure
- Weapons Identification and Safe Handling
