The Bureau of Justice Assistance’s (BJA) Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Program (COAP) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Team recently released its inaugural Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Program Newsletter. This quarterly resource is designed to support the efforts of COAP grantees, peer recovery coaches and policymakers, public health and public safety officers, and concerned family members in addressing the nation’s opioid crisis.
Through the newsletter, the COAP TTA Team aims to:
- Share promising practices, strategies, tools, technologies, and other resources;
- Foster innovative ideas to assist grantees and communities in combating the opioid crisis;
- Facilitate peer-to-peer discussions and develop a network of practitioners across disciplines and geographies; and
- Promote TTA services and funding opportunities.
