The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) will host a webinar titled “Are You Managing the Change or Is the Change Managing You?” on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The purpose of this webinar is to:
- Define what change is and the different ways it is perceived,
- Explore the challenges in implementing any change effort,
- Review the main reasons people resist change and how to directly address these,
- Explore how to get people bought into and embracing of change, and to
- Describe the specific steps required for a successful change effort
The presenter for this webinar is Dr. Kimberly Miller, Licensed Psychologist and Law Enforcement Consultant. By the end of the webinar, participants can expect to have a new perspective on change and the tools they need to both more effectively manage the changes that life brings to them and also the ones they are in charge of facilitating.
