There is still time to register for the North Carolina (NC)/South Carolina (SC) Counterterrorism Conference! The NC/SC Counterterrorism Conference, co-hosted by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, National Sheriffs’ Association & the Major County Sheriffs’ Association, will take place February 15-17, 2016 in the Charleston Area Convention Center. This year’s conference covers topics including counterterrorism preparation opportunities that are readily available to small and medium-sized communities.
Specific topics that will be covered during the sessions include:
- Cyber threats and investigations.
- The impact of social media.
- Addressing the needs of victims.
