Recognize Community Corrections Leaders During Pretrial, Probation, and Parole Supervision Week from July 21-27, 2019

Join the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) in observing Pretrial, Probation, and Parole Supervision Week (PPPS Week) from July 21-27. This year’s celebration theme is “Restoring Trust, Creating Hope,” which aims to raise awareness about the significant contributions made by community corrections individuals. Their efforts have a vital impact on people’s lives and on public safety in their communities.

APPA encourages those serving in the corrections field to recognize their coworkers, employees, supervisors, and others for their achievements by organizing a celebration event at their office. No celebration is too small. Participants can show appreciation for their community corrections colleagues by bringing in coffee and doughnuts, raising money for a local charity in honor of them, or participating in a community service project. Learn more about PPPS Week and contact APPA directly if you would like them to participate in your office celebration.
