Read BJA’s Publication to Learn Best Practices for Creating Community Advisory Boards

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), in partnership with the Center for Court Innovation (CCI) released a publication titled How Community Advisory Boards Can Assist the Work of the Justice System, which provides guidance to justice practitioners interested in creating advisory boards to develop community engagement. The publication describes best practices for developing effective community advisory boards and gives success stories where they helped to foster improvements within the justice system.
