Learn about Designing and Implementing Trauma-informed Training for Law Enforcement, Schools, and Community Partners

Join the Midwest Regional Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) for the webinar “Developing Trauma Informed Partnerships with Schools and Other CAC Partners - Part 1” on Thursday, August 9 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. ET. During this webinar, participants will learn about the essential components of trauma-informed trainings for schools, law enforcement, and community partners.

This webinar will be presented by Dr. Amelia Siders, Clinical Director of the Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center and an expert in complex trauma, substance abuse, assessment, and trauma-informed practices. In addition to reviewing the key elements of designing and implementing trauma-informed training, Dr. Siders will discuss challenges and potential solutions involved in educating partners on how to be trauma-informed. Dr. Siders will also discuss how CACs are uniquely positioned to lead the implementation of trauma-informed trainings.
