Please join the National Tribal Judicial Center (NTJC) webinar, Dispelling the Myths of Tribal Law and Order Act (TLOA): Judicial Education, Ethics, and Licensure, on Wednesday, January 28 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST. The interactive webinar will introduce participants to the provisions of TLOA pertaining to judicial qualifications, as well as address and dispel some of the myths that exist with respect to judicial qualifications in terms of education and licensure, including a comparative analysis of the qualifications of judges in other jurisdictions. Additionally, the webinar will provide information relevant to establishing rules or codes that provide for judicial licensure, ethics, and ongoing education and provide examples of the various means by which tribes can ensure that court records reflect judicial qualifications.
