Please join the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) webinar, “The Impact of Officer-Involved Shootings” on Thursday, September 8 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. ET. The webinar will review the impact of officer-involved shootings, including how these incidents impact the entire department, not just the officer involved. Additionally, the webinar will discuss reasons why each officer responds differently in critical situations and will clarify the common myths and realities associated with the deep emotional responses that can be exhibited following a critical incident.
The presenter for this webinar is Nancy Bohl-Penrod who holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and a master’s degree in counseling/education. Bohl-Penrod is the Director of The Counseling Team International where she provides counseling support services to officers and their families.
