Please join the Vera Institute of Justice, the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the webinar, “Protecting the Fair Housing Rights of People with Criminal Records” on Thursday, April 28 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. ET. In recognition of the inaugural National Reentry Week, this webinar will discuss fair housing rights for people with criminal records.

The webinar will give an overview of recent guidance issued by HUD, as well as examples of fair housing practices across the country, such as a pilot program to reunite families in New York City and an innovative way of screening in New Orleans.
