Please join the American Probation and Parole Association webinar, The Impact of Enhanced Sentencing Authority for Tribal Probation on Tuesday, May 20 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST. This webinar will highlight the anticipated impact of enhanced sentencing authority under the Tribal Law and Order Act of 2010 and jurisdiction over non-Indians under the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 for tribal probation officers. Additionally, the webinar will cover the importance of reentry planning for tribal members who receive enhanced sentences and discuss how jurisdictions can work collaboratively to ensure successful reentry of tribal members back into their communities.
